The brakes were nimble and easy to use, however we didn't like the fact the fact that you had to step on a lock in front of the seat when you are walking or running.

Baby Trend Expedition

This stroller is a great option for families on a budget. It comes with all the safety features, such as five-point harnesses, a Tether strap, and other safety features to ensure your children's safety during outings. The handlebar has an extra-wide ergonomically shaped rubber grip and is foam padded for comfort. This makes it easier to traverse the rough terrain and hills. It has a large bin that can store two or more drinks, which is very useful when you're on a long trip.

The Expedition is a jogger that carries infant car seats which makes it a great choice for parents with young children. It is able to attach Baby Trend or Graco infant seats with the adapter that comes with it. It also comes with a lockable swivel wheel on the front that can be unlocked for jogging, or locked for strolling. The Expedition isn't as great in certain categories as our top-scoring models. The canopy of the Expedition is small, meaning it's not as a great way to cover or protection from sun. Despite these shortcomings however, the Baby Trend Expedition is an excellent option for parents on a tight budget looking for an all-terrain stroller. It also comes with other useful features, such as tray for the parent with cup holders, and an infant tray with two cup holders.

Out and About Nipper Sport V4

UK brand Out 'n' About has received a plethora of admirers for its range of jogging buggies, and this model is their top running buggy. It's light and easy to steer however, it also comes with robust 16" wheels that can take on even the toughest terrain. It features fixed wheels that are easy to lock straight when running. However, you can use the lever on the handlebar and let the front wheel swivel for those who are just walking around or attempting to climb hills.

The suspension is great especially on bridleways that are bumpy and rocky. The brake on the handlebars wasn't as responsive to us as we would like, and the Nipper Sport V4 cannot be used with a car seat or baby carrier (although it is compatible with an infant insert) and is only used for occasional sleep.

The instructions are clear and we were in a position to put it together in less than 10 minutes. It's necessary to put in the seat liner and hood yourself however, we found it wasn't difficult - it simply requires some patience while feeding the harness straps through the slits in the padded seat liner. The seat's back has a medium-sized pouch, but it's not big enough to hold a change bag.

The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 is suitable for use from birth. However, it's recommended to wait until your child is six-months-old before using it for running. This is due to the fact that the harness isn't sturdier enough to hold a newborn, so you'll need an additional carrycot or insert for your newborn.
